What is the procedure involved?

At first, our dentist will examine your mouth and take X-rays. He may also recommend a few tests to measure toxicity, sensitivity, etc. During the procedure, you will be protected from any mercury vapors created with the use of a dental dam, a specialized mercury air filter, and supplemental oxygen.

After removing the amalgam, our dentist will fill the space using a tooth-colored composite and harden it with a curing light. The material will then be shaped and polished to fit the tooth properly.
